Device Activation Instructions

Completing Activation of an Apple iPhone device on the Flash Wireless Green Network:

 

  1. Make sure your SIM card is in your device
  2. If this is a new device or has been factory rest, follow the set-up instructions on the device
  3. If the device has been previously set-up and is past the welcome screen follow the below instructions:

  4. 1. Connect to a Wi-Fi network
    2. Restart your phone
    3. Within 2-3 minutes the phone should start a Hands-Free Activation on its own
    4. When the activation completes, your phone is ready for use

    If you’ve tried the steps above and your phone is still not activated, try resetting your network settings:

    Reset Network Settings

  5. Select the Settings App
  6. Select General
  7. Select Reset
  8. Select Reset Network Settings
  9. Enter your passcode if prompted
  10. Select Reset Network Settings
  11. The phone will restart

 

If you’ve tried all of the steps above and your phone is still not activated, you’ll need to complete a factory reset:

Factory Reset
Make sure your device content is backed up. You may back up via iCloud or iTunes.

  1. Select the Settings app
  2. Select General
  3. Select Reset
  4. Select Erase All Content and Settings
  5. Enter your passcode if prompted
  6. Erase iPhone
  7. Erase iPhone

The phone will restart and you will be prompted to set up your phone again, which you can do as a new device or restore it from a previous backup in iTunes or iCloud.

 

Completing Activation of an Android device on the Flash Wireless Green Network:

 

  1. Install the battery (if applicable)
  2. Install your SIM card
  3. Turn the device on
  4. Complete any initial set-up instructions
  5. Allow the device to activate automatically over the air

If you’ve tried all of the steps above and your phone is still not activated, you’ll need to manually complete programming:

  1. Open the dialer
  2. Dial *22890
  3. Allow programming to take place
  4. Touch “OK”. Your phone should restart. If it does not restart, manually restart your phone

 

Completing Activation of a Basic/Feature device on the Flash Wireless Green Network:

 

  1. Install the battery (if applicable)
  2. Turn the device on
  3. Complete any initial set-up instructions
  4. Allow the device to activate automatically over the air

If you’ve tried all of the steps above and your phone is still not activated, please complete the following steps


  1. Open the dialer
  2. Dial *22890
  3. Allow programming to take place
  4. Touch “OK”. Your phone should restart. If it does not restart, manually restart your phone

If you’ve tried all of the steps above and your phone is still not activated, you’ll need to manually complete programing:


  1. On the keypad, dial ##Lock Code# (The Lock Code is a 6-digit number emailed to you upon the activation of your handset)
  2. Select Edit
  3. Enter your 10-digit phone number
  4. Note, if the 10-digit phone number is displayed, please delete and re-enter the number
  5. Touch OK
  6. Clear all zeros and enter the MSID number (This can be found in the email you received upon activation of your handset)
  7. Select OK
  8. Select Done
  9. Your phone should restart. If it does not restart, manually restart your phone
